Well it is June, better known as June swoon for those of you in baseball land… the time if the year when the lazy days of summer begin to coax you and allow you to wind down just a bit and relax. I know that many of us are hard at work and doing all we can to avoid the June swoon. I have noticed in recent days that people have been hard at work on the forums adding some great content and some really enjoyable posts, so I know AC is doing it’s part to avoid the swoon.
If you happened to have stumbled upon us here and haven’t done so, by all means please take a few minutes to check out our forums. If you like what you see and want to join an incredible group of people, people that I have come to call good friends, then please book mark us and stop by often to comment. Well it is officially May…as of yesterday that is. That means that it is time for the May edition of desktops (an AC favorite). If you haven’t checked us out go right ahead and visit us here. The May desktops can be found here.
May is also going to be unofficially “Vector Art Month” on AC. It is a self proclaimed theme for the month of May that I hope you all will enjoy checking out and participating in.

You may not have known that AC has it’s very own blog page… I know I was shocked too ;). Judging by the traffic stats for the blog I can safely say that you may not have known either. The AC blog will be updated and featured much more often as an integral part of AC’s upcoming evolution. The blog will act as a news portal of sorts for happenings with the community and news worthy items that the community can benefit from. I am hoping that the AC blog is the beginning of a new era for AC and it’s current members and future members.

Just revisting one of our Featured designers in our new category, Sitewatch. The Hejz has updated his portfolio with a nice little flash gallery. I’m always a bit worried when I see a “new site coming soon” type of message on one of my favorite designer’s site however The Hejz definitely didn’t let me down.
The new site maintains the same simple yet effective feel that showcases the actual work rather than the site itself. All in all an excellent redesign.
